A quality image is essential to producing a quality engraving:
- Original, uncropped, uncompressed photos engrave beautifully.
- When possible, please send more than one choice of photo.
- We proof all personalizations and require customer approval. We do this via email.
- If you are scanning your image, please scan at a resolution of 600 dpi.
- Email at full resolution and send as attachement, (don't drag and drop).
- Sending a picture from your phone? Don't send a screenshot! Instead, go to the photos section of the phone and forward us the actual (original) photo.
If the photo you send us is too small, it will be blurry when blown up to the size needed for engraving:

Without a sharp well-lit photo, we won't be able to engrave the best image. If you have limited access to a quality photo, we're happy to do our best in photoshop, rescuing details, sharpening, balancing and attempting to get an engravable image.

Grecian
The MacKenzie Grecian urn is round and stylish. The grecian shape is traditional and typical when considering a cremation urn. Originally cast as two parts and melded together, this urn stands taller than the rest. Please note that burial may require a separate urn vault, (please contact your local cemetery).

Niche
The MacKenzie Niche urn is a new shape! As columbariums' popularity is on the rise, there became a need for a taller, skinnier variation to our MacKenzie Classic shape. Working with local artists and master mold builders, we were able to capture the same structural integrity in an enhanced shape, perfect for the size and shape of a niche in a columbarium. This urn has the ability to sit flush next to another MacKenzie Niche urn. This is convenient if two urns share one niche.

The Companion urn lends its styling from the MacKenzie Classic, but provides the space necessary to accommodate two individuals, either in separate compartments or one. Engraving available on the top and front sides. Typically we recommend one of our stock templates when choosing engraving on a companion. These emphasize love and connectivity while maintaining dignity in the personalization.

Niche Companion
The MacKenzie Niche Companion is a new shape! As columbariums' popularity is on the rise, there became a need for a taller, skinnier variation to our MacKenzie Classic Companion shape. This urn is a single urn with double capacity, which emulates two MacKenzie Niche urns next to each other. Available in single or double chambers.

Classic Keepsake
The Classic Keepsake is a smaller version of the trademarked shape, the MacKenzie Classic. It's a perfect addition to a MacKenzie classic. Engraving is available on all sides. The small cavity inside provides the space necessary for a small physical remembrance of a loved one. Sometimes a family is interested in duplicate keepsakes for different friends or family members.

Classic 100 (Angel), Classic 50, and Classic 25
The MacKenzie Classic shape comes in smaller sizes to fit the size requirements of the family and their loved one. There are three smaller sizes of the Classic. The Classic 100, (formerly known as the Angel), is 100 cubic inches and while it can't accommodate the size requirements of an adult person, it can of a much smaller loved one. The Classic 50 and Classic 25 follow suit into the same sizing requirements, dictated by a crematorium, funeral home or cemetery. These smaller sizes are also a good fit for professionals or veterinary professionals involved with pet cremations. We recommend engraving for personalization.

The cube is a modern and elegantly balanced urn. Using the power of symmetry, this shape emphasizes smooth straight lines with five flat sides, suitable for engraving. This urn could be a choice when a smaller capacity is requested. Could be used as a keepsake or other type of cremation urn.

Larger Urns
MacKenzie Oversized Classic
The MacKenzie Oversized Classic is also called The Patriot. Depending on the size and duration involved with a cremation, there may be a requirement for a larger capacity urn. This is the choice when this is the case. The Oversized urn is available in all types and colors. If the loved one is coming from a Green Cremation, or a process involving alkaline hydrolysis, we also recommend this urn size and shape regardless due to the higher capacity compartment required after this type of cremation.
